ADMIN
Editing for
Chat bot
Off
Master switch. When this is off the bot stays connected but posts nothing.
Cooldown
seconds
Minimum wait before the same message can post again. Stops repeats during a busy stream. Minimum 5 seconds.
Advanced
Typing delay
seconds
Short pause before the bot posts, so it reads less like a robot. Between 0.5 and 10 seconds.
Your Whatnot handle
Required. The bot only posts on shows hosted by this handle, so your messages can never land in someone else's chat. Lowercase, no @.
Post messages automatically on a repeating timer while you are live. Add as many as you want. Minimum 2 minutes each.
Viewers type a command in chat and the bot replies instantly. Example: a viewer types !socials and the bot posts your links.
Command prefix
The character that starts every command.
Click a message to open it and set emoji, announcements and the live preview. Emoji show up in Whatnot chat exactly as you type them. 500 characters max per message, 490 if you post it as an announcement. Leave a custom slot blank if you are not using it.
Superseded by Scheduled messages above, which can run several timers at once. This stays here because it is switched on for you.
Repeat a message on a timer
Off
Posts the message you pick every few minutes while you are live.
Every
minutes
post
Minimum 2 minutes. Anything faster reads as spam to buyers.
